Horse Photography and Pet Portraiture -

Where does the time go?

I've just realised that the last blog I did was back in May!  Where on earth does the time go?

We've had a funny summer weather wise, but we've dropped lucky with most of the photoshoots - PHEW!  Fingers crossed, the next few weeks will hold up for us too as it's a very busy August. There are only a couple of appointments left and September is also starting to fill up fast.

This year I am increasingly being asked to photograph older horses and dogs, or those that have a limited time with us, due to illness or injury. These photoshoots are so emotional and I feel every second of the owners pain and bravery, but I also feel very honoured and privileged to have been chosen to help create some memories that will last a lifetime.  I know from my own experience just how valuable these images are and I always do my best to ensure we capture their character and where possible we head out to their favourite place too.

I recently took some of my products to exhibit at the North West Iberian Showcase at Thompson House, wow - what a beautiful place, stunning horses and such elegant riders!  Of course, I couldn't resist getting the camera out for part of the day. You can have a peek at them on my facebook page and also in the events section of the website.
